MSc in Natural Resource Assessment and Management at University of Dar salaam– 2008, Bachelor of Geography and Environmental Studies at University of Dar es Salaam – 2005

Carrier development and research interests
I specialize on the fields of geography, environment and natural resources. I dedicated more on these fields when I was doing field practicals during graduate studies.

My
first experience dated back in 2004 in Uporoto highlands, Mbeya region. I studied poor farming practices and its affects soil fertility, crop productivity and livelihood of farmers.

During MSc studies, I participated in a project within a programme - Kinondoni Integrated Coastal Area management Programme (KICAMP) to do assessment and monitoring of coastal resources.

The skills and knowledge from field practicals equip my foundation on poverty-environmental linkages and natural resources management.

Currently
I am doing a PhD study on “Adaptive capacity of small-scale farmers for climate variability in semi-arid areas of Tanzania.

Courses taught
RD 111 - Introduction to natural resource management and RD 202 – Natural resource management.
